Welcome!

Your child will be immersed in a variety of experiences in my classroom. I teach the performing arts through movement, dance, drama, art, literature, and of course, music activities. I also integrate with the children’s science and social studies curricula. In my classroom, music is designed for all children. Learning occurs in a non-competitive atmosphere. I strive to creating a fun and positive atmosphere where all children feel comfortable and are encouraged to actively participate.

We’ll play the xylophones, recorders, small and large percussion instruments, move and dance, create shadow plays, study composers and instruments of the orchestra, learn patriotic and American folk songs as well as games and songs from around the world.
