Runyon has a lab with 28 GX-620 Dells and a Smart Board. Our students have a regular scheduled time of 40 minutes every 6 day rotation in the lab. Additional lab times are available for teachers to bring their students in and work on projects that range from MAP Testing, Kid Pix, Kidspiration, Bear Express,interactive Math web games, Social studies quizzes etc.
The main purpose of the lab is to extend their learning from the classroom. We locate research information and communicate research findings using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, or Kidspiration.
Our students also use software to practice skills in math, language arts, and typing.
We have 2 digital and 6 Vcam video cameras for the kids to use in their projects as the teacher assigns.
