We, as the first grade team, believe in the equal development of a child's social, emotional and academic growth.

We communicate regularly with parents via newletters to inform you of curricular areas being studied, offer suggestions to help reinforce these skills at home, and share anything else relevant to your child's success in first grade at Runyon.

Ultimately, our expectations are that your child will become an independent worker, will contribute to a cooperative class atmosphere and reach their highest potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
