Welcome!
I am so excited to have you in our Runyon family.
As we begin our 2008-2009 school year, I would like to challenge you to answer the question: "Where is your passion"? Our Runyon community has so many exciting ways for all of us to get involved. “But how do I start?” you may ask yourself. First, look over the descriptions of volunteer opportunities and activities. Still don't see your passion? LET US KNOW, maybe we can add it. Maybe you want to start a "Green” Committee. Maybe you are a great last minute “Go To” person (we need 2 dozen cookies, stat!). Do time constraints prevent you from getting involved during the school day? Consider sending in a tasty creation for the teacher's lunch, typing BEAR Express books, or helping with BINGO. Any involvement you put in will only enhance your child’s experience at Runyon.
This challenge doesn’t differ much from what we tell our kids each day as we send them off to school: Go try something new. Make a new friend. Make a difference. Get involved.
